Notes

cmi5 Logo

The group chose a logo for cmi5 based on the exising xAPI.

The logo design will be as follows:

xAPI logo + “cmi5” left side vertical text = cmi5 logo.

This makes clear that cmi5 is xAPI specific.

PENS support for cmi5 Since the PENS specification will only require minor changes, it will not be converted to Markdown. In general it was agreed that the document will retain its orginal format, etc.

A draft word document has been placed on the ADL-AICC gitHub repo with the following changes:

  • ADL Ownership and Contact informaton added to cover sheet.
  • ADL Ownership and version added to header/footers
  • Revision History updated to indicate document transfer and the new revision
  • The vocabulary of “package-type” was changed to add “cmi5-pkg:”. (note that this is the only functional change to the specification).
  • Bibliography was changed to add cmi5 specification reference.

The group reviewed this draft and determined that mentioning a specific version of the cmi5 specification was not necessary given the way PENS is written.

Andy Johnson will check with ADL to determine what disclaimers and official ADL contact/title information is necessary to publish.

cmi5 Course structure XML example

Henry Ryng proposed a sample course structure XML for the cmi5 course structure spec. Unfortunately, the gotoMeeting session ended unexpectedly before completing the review. The group will revisit the issue.

HR OS

The HR OS did contact Aaron Silvers with more details on the test question data model. We will coordinate with Aaron if more follow-up is needed.
