Notes

gh-pages README and JSON Examples

The group had a lengthy discussion about the purpose of the examples and what their focus should be (minimal requirements, full features set, or best practice/typical). In general, the group agreed that best practice/typical variety examples would be most appropriate for the "target audience".

Issue #497 - Simple Session example

This example is supposed to represent a single AU course with default moveOn setting of "NotApplicable". The example contained a scenario where the learner launched the AU after registration and showed other example statements. For this particular example the group found this confusing agreed to do the following:

  1. Rename the example from "Simple Session" to "Not Applicable moveOn"
  2. Remove all statements from the example except for "Satisfied"
  3. Move the example further down the list so that it is not the first example that readers view.

IRI Resolution

The xAPI specification requires that the IRI's used to identify verbs, activity types, categories, and extensions resolve to webservice that returns a JSON structure. The service currently used to host the IRI's used by cmi5 returns HTML. This system is maintained by the ADL and xAPI working group. This issue has been referred to them to resolve.
