Testing Requirements Document
The group continued work on the cmi5 testing requirements document. See Current Draft
Reasonable Time period between Launched and Initialized Statements
The group discussed the language in Section 9.3.1 and 9.3.2 specifying a "reasonable period of time" between between Launched and Initialized Statements. The group decided that the spec was sufficiently clear on the requirement of their sequence and that "should" language regarding time period between them was confusing and should be removed to clarify (as follows):
9.3.1 Launched
Usage - A "Launched" statement is used to indicate that the LMS has launched the AU.
9.3.2 Initialized
Usage - An "Initialized" statement is used by the AU to indicate that it has been fully initialized.
Best Practices
The group agreed to update the best practice for fetch URLs:
Best Practice #3 – Fetch URLs
- The Fetch URL should only return an auth token on the first call. (Subsequent calls should return an error – i.e. it should be a “one time use” URL)
