(cmi5) jsonld - xAPI Profile
The group reviewed the cmi5 (jsonld) profile in the xapi profile github rep:
The group discussed editing the profile ID's (raised at last week's meeting) but was unsure of the schema details to confidently make the changes.
To address concerns expressed about the profile definition confusing cmi5 developers, the group did the following:
- Added a pull request to include this scope note:
"scopeNote": "PLEASE NOTE: As of February 7, 2020 the cmi5 Working Group (the entity that owns the cmi5 spec) has determined that this profile is invalid and must be corrected prior to implementation. Implementations of this current version ARE NOT cmi5 CONFORMANT"
- Added an issue to Github repo reaching out to the xapi-profiles specification experts to attend the next cmi5 working group meeting and discuss next steps for working together to resolve this issue. See Issue #84 - cmi5 Profile not in line with Spec #84 (below)
