Notes
The group continued its discussion on the xAPI profile specification and how it could be applied to cmi5. The following topics were discussed:
- support multiple context categories (in the profile spec already – not very clear – no explicit prohibition or requirement) – if you have a context.contextActivities.category it specifies the profile.
- If “context.contextActivities.category” was added as a “Determining Property” then it would be more definitive.
- Nesting Profiles would be possible
- “State” Documents are not covered in Profile specification
- What is a profile that conformant look like and What does a statement that is conformant to a profile look like
- Data analytics normalization
xAPI Profile Spec changes to Accommodate cmi5
#1 - New “Determining Properties” needs to be added to meet deficiencies:
- context.contextActivities.category *support multiple context categories
- (context Extensions) All extensions should be specifiable
- Other Extensions
