Notes

Course Structure XSD

Objectives

"Orphaned" Objectives (objectives that are not referenced by any AU or block) have no required LMS behavior associated with them. (They are outside the scope of this specification).

Objectives have many-to-many relationship with AU's and Blocks

Each AU or Block element may have a collection of Objective ID's.

As previously discussed, objectives’ definitions (titles, descriptions) will be centralized in a Objectives element in the cmi5.xsd.

New Course level metadata element for “Language”.

"Language" will specify which languages will be supported by the course. All of the languages specified in this element must be present in langstrings for each course element (AU and Blocks). The LMS will be expected to display the language specific titles and descriptions for course elements based on the learner’s language preference (if specified in the LMS’s user profile).

  es-MX
