prepare web extensions for maven tomcat7 plugin - AGETO/hybris-maven-plugin GitHub Wiki

To start the extensions generated by the Hybris Maven Plugin, you need to do following steps after the code generator has finished its work (later on this will be automatically done by the hybris maven plugin):

1. Add needed files to the extensions folder:

• hac-web:
  • jmxremote.access (can be copied from %HYBRIS_DIR%/config/tomcat/conf/jmxremote.access)
  • target/tomcat/conf/server.xml (a ready-to-use template can be found here - maybe you have to customize the port numbers if needed)

2. Edit dependencies in extensions pom.xml:

• hac-web:
  • add following exclusion for all dependencies it is a transitive dependency of: <exclusion> <groupId>javax.servlet</groupId> <artifactId>servlet-api</artifactId> </exclusion>
  • add following dependency: <dependency> <groupId>javax.servlet</groupId> <artifactId>javax.servlet-api</artifactId> <version>3.0.1</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency>
