There are four workflow candidates for the basis of CMIP7 forcing ancillary workflows for ESM1.6 and ESM3:

  1. The Rose/Cylc 7 suites used for CMIP6 forcings for UKESM

    Examples:

    u-aj635 CMIP6 ancillary generation.

  2. The Rose/Cylc 7 suites used for CMIP6 forcings for ACCESS-CM2

    Examples:

    u-cd511 GA7.0 N96 ACCESS CM2 ancillary suite.

    Properties:

    • Cylc 7.
    • Not a portable suite: there is no site directory.
    • Uses ancilGeneralAero. This in turn uses 
      GENERALIN=$ANCIL_MASTER/aero_clims/GA6.0_antie/${VERTLEV}/v2/qrclim.${AERO}
      where 
      ANCIL_MASTER='/g/data/access/umdir/ancil/atmos/master/'
VERTLEV='L85_85km_20YR'
      and AERO is one of biog, biom, blck, dust, ocff, sslt, sulp. These files are dated 2015.

  3. The Rose/Cylc 7 suites used for GC5 and related models

    Examples:

    u-dj813 GC5 Global Ancillary Suite - ANTS v1.2.0 - NCI.
