Load Regulation - ABridgeTooFar/ThreeAmpsAtFiveVolts GitHub Wiki
Load regulation involves sequencing power to parts of a circuit in an orderly fashion so that in-rush currents are managed, and so circuit protections can be kept at levels safe for the operator at all times and to reduce electrical noise and interference. They also help keep circuits in low-power or idle states, and to allow time for capacitative and inductive loads to acquire sufficient reserves to handle bursts of activity.
