Beautiful Soup 4 Notes - AATreok/RedSoxKarma GitHub Wiki
If given some XML (See http://gd2.mlb.com/components/game/mlb/year_2016/month_07/day_23/master_scoreboard.xml):
You can use soup.find(...) to find a specific instance of a block from the root element.
You can specific a condition using soup.find(ROOTELEMENT, {'element':parameter}), where parameter is the condition you are suggesting the element must match.
This can either return None or it can return a sample of XML that you can search using keywords (it's a dictionary).
soup.findAll() is similar, but it's a list that you must index. You can do the same where you apply a condition (soup.findAll(..., {'element':parameter})).
