Getting Started
1. Select scripts
Here's WinClean's main window. It's the first thing that you should see when you start the application:
On the left part you can see a list of check boxes. Those are the scripts you can select to clean the system.
Scripts are highlighted in 3 colors :
- 🟩
Safe
means that the script is safe for virtually every user. - ⬛
Limited
means that the script is generally safe, but it may hinder features that are useful for a minority of users. - 🟥
Dangerous
means that the script is destined for a minority of users who want advanced optimization, as it will probably hinder useful system features.
On the right part, you can see the details of the selected script.
2. Execute scripts
Before starting the cleaning process, you can go to System Protection settings to create a restore point.
This will allow you to restore the changes that are about to be brought to the system.
The scripts you selected are now running. This may take a long time. You can check the verification check box to reboot your computer automatically when the operation is complete.
3. Cleaning completed
Do you see this window?
It means the cleaning is completed.
It's strongly advised that you reboot your computer to apply changes.
Enjoy your debloated Windows experience!
