##Helpful Commands

There a handful of commands that we have set up on the 5by5craft server that will help make your time on 5by5craft easier as well as help protect your builds and items.

###For New Players

If you haven't played Minecraft before commands can be issued in-game via a text-based chat console.

When you are logged into a multiplayer server you can press T to bring up the chat console.

All Minecraft commands begin with a backslash /.

To access help in-game type /help in the chat console. For multiple pages type /help 2, /help 3, etc.

###Protecting your Chests, Furnaces, Brewing Stands, etc.

We use LWC to protect chests and other protectable blocks.

All blocks are placed so that they are accessible by anyone on the server, if you want to protect a chest you need to issue the /cprivate command.

Example:

Issue the /cprivate command:

You will be asked to Left-Click The item you wish to lock.

If the protection was successful you will receive a message stating the success.
