Select the type of settings you want to apply to your current Cura configuration

Selection

  • Extruder type : Bowden or Direct drive

  • The Nozzle Size : 0.2 0.4 0.6 0.8 1.0

  • The Material : PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU

  • The type of Intent :

  1. standard
  2. bed adhesion
  3. warping
  4. top surface
  5. extra quality
  6. mechanical
  7. small part
  8. figurine
  9. prototype
  10. support
  11. vase
  12. save material

Press the Button APPLY to modify your current configuration according to your choice. A message will be display at the end of the modification with the number of modified parameters.

Standard Settings Option

Standard Settings

This option are used to modify a large number of settings which are call "Standard settings".

The first time you used the plugin up to 70 parameters are modified this is mainly this standard settings. Then depending of the intent you decide to use less than 20 parameters are generaly modified. By uncheking this option the initial bunch of parameters are not modified.

The question is often asked : "which settings are changed by the plugin". For more info, you can click on the help icons, located next to the settings to access the Wiki pages of the different settings.

In the Cura log file you will also find for each action, the list of variables and values modified by the plugin :

Limit the number of modified parameter

If you don't want the Plugin to modify some parameters related to the material or the diameter of the nozzle, you can leave these parameters unspecified.

  • Material : unknown

Limited modification

Use two modes successively

If you want to use two different types of settings (e.g. one setting for a mechanical part and then set the parameters to limit warping problems); you can first apply the mode: mechanical Press Apply , then change to warping mode and press Apply again.
