You should do this only if you need latest features.

The main branch is even more unstable than releases

  • Download ZIP of the repo

  • Open the zip file and open the folder blender.io_mqo-master

  • Open an explorer windows and go to your blender addon folder

You need to find the correct version of blender

Windows: %appdata%\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.81\scripts\addons\ Linux: /home/$user/.blender/2.81/scripts/addons Mac: /Users/$USER/Library/Application\ Support/Blender/2.81/scripts/addons If the last two folder doesn't exist you need to create them

  • Now Drag the folder io_scene_mqo into the addons folder

  • Open the corresponding blender version and active the addon
