open_iA includes:

• the QCustomPlot library (http://www.qcustomplot.com/), released under the GNU General Public License (GPLv3).
• parts of ITKTools (https://github.com/ITKTools/ITKTools), released under the Apache-2.0 License
• parts of FluoRender (http://www.sci.utah.edu/software/fluorender.html), specifically, the code to load .oif files; released under the MIT license
• the Compact Hilbert Indices library by Chris Hamilton (https://github.com/pdebuyl/libhilbert), released under the Lesser GNU GPL License v2.1
• parts of XMDVTool (https://github.com/kaiyuzhao/XmdvTool), which is in the public domain.
• source code from the Qt Examples (under its BSD license usage)
• a few modified source files from the ITK library, which is released under the Apache-2.0 License
• a few modified source files from the VTK library, which is released under the 3-clause BSD "New" or "Revised" License
• the peak detection routine by Hong Xu (https://github.com/xuphys/peakdetect), released under the 2-Clause BSD License
• references to CUDA and cuDNN runtimes from NVIDA; as per the requirement of NVIDIA's Software License Agreement, we therefore state that "This software contains source code provided by NVIDIA Corporation.".

  • the "jet" color palette created by inkscape contributor inductiveload.
  • the Google "Turbo" Rainbow color map released under the Apache-2.0 license.
  • the matplotlib library, released under the CC0 license / public domain.

open_iA itself is licensed under the GNU GPL license v3.

Icons and Graphics

Icons are to some part self-designed, but the main theme and a number of icons were adopted from the breeze icon theme (https://github.com/kde/breeze-icons, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1) from the Plasma Desktop / KDE community (which is licensed under GNU GPL v3).

For creation of some of the icons used in open_iA, the font "Blogger Sans" (http://firstsiteguide.com/new-blogger-sans-font/) was used, which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License v4.00 (CC-BY 4.0).

We have also started to incorporate some icons from the octave project (http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/file/9354d33dfbc4/libgui/src/icons), which is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
