Follow these steps in order to join Cloud Computing Club

Registration Process

• Sign into HuskiesConnect https://huskiesconnect.stcloudstate.edu/ using STAR-ID and Password
• Click on the three lines top left corner to see "My Organizations"
• Search for the Cloud Computing Club and click on join.

To add new members to your organization roster

• Sign into HuskiesConnect https://huskiesconnect.stcloudstate.edu/ using STAR-ID and Password
• Click on the three lines top left corner to see "My Organizations"
• Click on the settings wheel of the Organization you're looking for
• Select Roster in the drop-down menu
• Find the Blue "INVITE PEOPLE" button and click.
• Add the email using their SCSU Student Email ([email protected]) when including new member information. (One per line)
• Click Add E-mail Addresses
• Invite as (select position title)
• Click blue send invitations button
• Students will receive an invite on their HuskiesConnect homepage and via email. They must accept their invite themselves in order to be included on the roster.

Troubleshooting

• You must use the exact SCSU email address or the student won't get the invitation. It has to be [email protected] and not the [email protected] or any other version
• If the student clicks on the email and is not signed in to HuskiesConnect it might show they an error screen. Go to HuskiesConnect login with the StarID and password and then click on the invitation link
• If the student has adjusted their notifications settings they might not receive an email. You can still review any invitiations by logging in and scrolling down and under Memberships they should see an Invitations Pending button. Click on that it should allow them to accept it to get into the group.
• If the email method doesn’t work, have them go into HuskiesConnect, find your organization, and hit the blue Join button. Then, an officer can go into the roster following the aforementioned steps, click prospective, and accept them that way.

Note

Officially, enrollment is allowed for current students. No students are invited to join the Avatar Project and the club through Discord and GitHub contributions, as no registration with the university is applicable.
