Monday 05.10.2026

  • Attendees: Alyza, Caitlin, Navini, Abbey, and the lecturer

Minutes:

The group met with the lecturer to clarify the expected issue and development workflow.

The team initially attempted to transfer the existing issues automatically. When this did not work, it was agreed that the issues would be duplicated manually so the required work and project history could still be tracked correctly.

Monday 12.10.2026

  • Attendees: All team members

Minutes:

The team met to discuss the final work required before submission.

The team agreed that parts of the codebase should be reorganized and refactored to improve maintainability. This included separating responsibilities currently grouped within ExpenseGroupService and consolidating the Flyway migrations into a cleaner baseline.

The team also reviewed the SonarQube failure, identified that the reported quality problems needed to be resolved, and agreed to fix them before submission.

The desktop interface was difficult to navigate efficiently during testing, so the team agreed that the UI should be redesigned before the presentation. A mobile-responsive interface was also considered necessary because receipt scanning requires access to a mobile device and camera.

The following issues were created, approved, and assigned during the meeting:

  • #81 — Refactor ExpenseGroupService — Alyza
  • #82 — SonarQube quality fixes — Orion
  • #83 — Desktop responsive redesign — Abbey
  • #84 — Mobile-responsive interface — Caitlin
  • #85 — Refactor and consolidate Flyway migrations — Julianne
  • #16 - Monthly individual spending view — Navini
