Different kind of mechanics, some can be applied to several items/events

Stun

Short term effect, the player loses control of the player: cannot move nor plant bombs. The character can get stunned by different ways, for example:

  • being hit by a bomb in the head (launched by a dead player)
  • items/powerups that cause stun effect

Attributes:

  • time the player stays stunned, can vary from one cause to another

Dead player

When a player dies, she can --

Optional: when the player kills a living one, he rejoins the game. Questions:

  • Where is he placed in the scene?
  • Initial state, or the stats/powerups/items he had when he died?
  • If he kills all the players standing, does he rejoin and win the game?

Powerup

Gives the player an additional hability

Secondary item

  • Single use
  • Multiple use with recharge time

Sudden death
