Brainstorming for the types of bombs we can add to the game
Format:
Bomb Name
Range (initial range, Short, Normal, Long)
Description
Consider introducing to the game a new "secondary bomb/weapon" concept (some of the bombs listed below should be part of this new category).
Standard bomb
Range: Normal
Standard type of bomb
(Perforant?) bomb
Range: Normal
Similar to normal bomb. Blast range is not stopped by a destroyable wall
Power bomb
Range: Long
Long range normal bomb
Land mine
Range: Short
Activated when player walks over it
Remote control bomb
Range: Normal
Blasts at player will
Bouncing bomb
Range: Normal
May be kicked by a player and it will bounce over the screen until it blasts
Thermal bomb
Range: Short-Normal
After it blasts, the blast range is blocked for a few seconds until it cools down
Bio bomb (a.k.a biopadrin bomb (selfish joke))
Range: Short-Normal
This bomb doesn't kill the player in range, but it reverse the player controls randomly (i.e. up goes left, left goes down, down goes up, right goes right). The blast area is contaminated for a few seconds (even we could add "wind" to move the "toxic cloud" over the screen).
Clone bomb
Range: Short
This bomb creates clones of the player who uses it. They will go randomly over the screen until they touch any player. The idea is taken from DBZ

Sticky bomb
Range: Short
A player needs to be adjacent to another player. When activated a countdown starts for the victim. In order to scape the victim needs to reach another player and pass the bomb to him.
Gravity well bomb
Range: Medium
Attracts any item/bomb/player within its action ratio. After exploding a gravity zone is active on the area an amount of time that will depend on the player's flame length stat.
Wall-building bomb
Range: Normal
This bomb creates new destructible blocks (containing random items [if any]).
Ice bomb
Range: Normal
This bomb freezes the enemies not allowing them to move for some seconds. Besides, it freezes the floor for some seconds making other players/bombs slide when they are on the affected zone. It can interrupt the effect of thermal bombs and viceversa. The freezing effects on the floor can be cancelled by using any "regular" bomb.
Smoke bomb (AKA Pep bomb)
Range: Normal
Secondary bomb. Fills the screen with smoke making unable to see an area for a few seconds
## Mirage bomb The player plants a set of bombs, but only one of them is true
