Yesterday I attended training and worked on project 2. I modified the add and remove favorites method to get the userId from the session instead of using the userId provided by the request, and added the functionality to the Favorites/Unfavorite button on the front end. I also modified the sat model to add a boolean to track whether that sat is a favorite to the requesting user and modified the service methods that return sats to assign that variable to true to the proper cases. I added a longitude and latitude variable to the users model to store the users position for requests to the n2yo api and modified the user edit methods so a user can update these values.

Worked on project 2, added feature for a user to delete their own comments, integrate the above api call in an a separate component. Allow a user to add that a sat to our db. Created a backend method that allowed me to check of a sat was in db since getting for sat was always giving a 200, to prevent adding a new sat again. Manually tested the app, features are working.

Yesterday i Attended the last training day of new content and finished up the last bug in register and added a Lat and Long to it, also finished the update portion with some help and added lat and long to it also.
