Yesterday I attended training and worked on project 2. With spring sessions implemented I created a session filter to implement some form of access control and a logging filter to log http requests and responses.

worked on repairing search on homepage, making component for search, figured out how to access the set-cookie in browser, configured backend to allow access to cookie in http session by default it is not accessible, set sessions userid and username, integrated httpinterceptror to add withcredentials in one place, tested register endpoint, added client side validation for email, set backend to allow OPTIONS, starting refractor of comments-cards - calling ngFor on getComments() was causing overflow even though getComments() worked before, trying to make it work with just comments but list not dynamically updating like before - working on that. Took quiz. When testing getting comments for a noradID - user’s information is not getting passed back. Same thing happens in postman but somehow on controller layer this information is present. Only thing returned for a user in a comment is the user id. Tried to troubleshoot, but no luck, will leave comments as anonymous.
