Monday

  • Jacob: Yesterday I studied and practiced for QC and interview. Today I hope I do really well on the QC and the one-on-one interview. My roadblock is my poor memory.
  • James: Yesterday I studied all of last week's material for QC. Today I will study new material. There are no roadblocks.
  • Yasin: Yesterday I practiced Git commands and CMD commands, made flashcards for all material. Today I will practice coding in IntelliJ. There are no roadblocks.
  • Zahtae: Yesterday I studied for QC and reviewed all material. Today I will prep for one-on-one & QC. There are no roadblocks.
  • Abdul: Yesterday I studied Java basics, OOP pillars, Git commands to prepare for QC, and one-on-one, practiced in IntelliJ building classes using Java. Today I will review all material for upcoming interviews. My roadblock is some of the material in Java.
  • Nathan: Yesterday I studied and reviewed for QC. Today I will review any notes from the material covered. There are no roadblocks.

Tuesday

  • Yasin: Yesterday I did the assignment for CMD commands and studied some of last week's materials. Today I will study what we learn during lecture today. There are no roadblocks yet.
  • James: Yesterday I did the assignment for abstract classes. Today I am going to study new material. There are no roadblocks.
  • Jacob: Yesterday I studied and practiced QC and 1 on 1 mock interview prep. Today I will work on some assignments related to Java and go over today's lecture material. The only roadblock so far is getting used to IntelliJ.
  • Nathan: Yesterday I did the access modifier and abstract class assignments. Today I will review notes from today's new material. There are no roadblocks.
  • Zahtae: Yesterday I reviewed concepts from last week. I made simple code in IntelliJ. Today will complete a quiz. No roadblocks.
  • Abdul: Yesterday I attended both the QC and 1 on 1 mock interview, I also practiced the prior week's study materials. Today I am preparing for the quiz. Roadblocks are the new Java material.

Wednesday

  • Yasin: Yesterday I studied material from what I missed on the quiz as well as String methods and variable scopes. Today I will go over some more of yesterday's material and today's material. There are no roadblocks yet.
  • James: Yesterday I did the access modifiers and string concatenation labs. Today I will do the control flow statement labs, as well as studying new material. There are no roadblocks yet.
  • Jacob: Yesterday I took notes during class, did well on the quizzes, prepared for the project. Today I will continue to take notes during class and would like to get started on the project if there is anything I am able to get a jump start on. There are no roadblocks yet.
  • Zahtae- Yesterday I reviewed material from last week & StringBuilder. Today I will go over new material. My roadblocks are understanding StringBuffers & StringBuilder.
  • Nathan: Yesterday I reviewed notes and experimented with String object methods that were discussed in class. Today I will go over new material. There are no roadblocks yet.
  • Abdul: Yesterday I reviewed the quizzes, I also practiced some Java codes (creating classes, for loops, if/else statements, got more familiar with IntelliJ), I also read the project policy guidelines. Today I will practice more Java. Roadblocks so far is learning new Java material.

Thursday

  • Yasin: Yesterday I worked on understanding the CRUD methods and looked over the Exception Hierarchy. Today I will look over today's material and do some assignments. My roadblock is trying to figure out the Update method.
  • Jacob: Yesterday I took notes, practiced Java in IntelliJ, did the CRUD methods. Today I will continue taking notes and practice more Java. There are no roadblocks.
  • James: Yesterday I finished the CRUD methods and I completed the for loop lab. Today I will study the new material. There are no roadblocks.
  • Abdul: Yesterday I practiced the LibraryAppDatabase project, I also started reading a book on Java basics. Today I will watch YouTube videos on Java and continue reading the book about Java. My roadblock is understanding is calling one class from another class.
  • Zahtae: Yesterday I learned about the heap and stack method. Today I will go over take notes and study concepts. Roadblock is implementing c.r.u.d.
  • Nathan: Yesterday I replicated the LibraryAppDatabase and reviewed notes. Today I will go over notes and study. There are no roadblocks.

Friday

  • Yasin: Yesterday I studied the Collection Hierarchy and reviewed yesterday's notes. Today I will try to review material that we learned this week. Roadblock for me so far was understanding testing.
  • James: Yesterday I studied the Collection API. Today I will review exceptions and try-catch blocks. There are no roadblocks.
  • Jacob: Yesterday I took notes, practiced Java, practiced CRUD methods, using the ArrayList. Today I will continue taking notes and take the practice coding quiz to prepare for next week's QC. There are no roadblocks.
  • Zahtae: Yesterday I studied ArrayLists. Today I will review week #1 and week #2 material. Roadblocks is c.r.u.d.
  • Abdul: Yesterday I continued reading the book on Java basics. Today I will also continue reading that book and I will practice prior class material. My roadblock is trying to understand how Java works.
  • Nathan: Yesterday I reviewed notes from class. Today I will review notes and practice coding with the practice quiz. There are no roadblocks.
