Current Project Status: AMBER

The project is progressing, but there are a few challenges that have put us slightly behind schedule. While the User Registration and Login feature was completed successfully, the Destination Search and Itinerary Creation are taking longer than anticipated due to complexity with integrating APIs for search and saving itineraries. Additionally, we have not yet started work on third-party booking integration, which is planned for future sprints. Overall, we believe that with additional focus in the next sprint, we will be back on track.

Team Goals for the upcoming week:

Complete the Destination Search with Suggestions by finalizing the API integration for location and filter-based searches.
Make significant progress on the Itinerary Creation feature, focusing on the UI and saving itinerary data.
Begin groundwork for integrating third-party booking services in Sprint 2.
Start preliminary research and planning for map-based navigation and notifications.

Individual Team Member Status:

Panwala Deep: Completed work on the User Registration and Login feature, focusing on implementing OAuth2 and session management. This coming week: Begin work on refining the Itinerary Creation feature and assist with Destination Search integration.
Pavan Rohith Midimilla: Worked on testing the User Registration feature and started basic tests for Destination Search. This coming week: Complete testing for Destination Search and assist with initial tests for the Itinerary Creation feature.
Nanda Eswar Vimal Boppudi: Built initial framework for the Destination Search feature, including API integration for filtering based on budget and trip type. This coming week: Complete API integration for search suggestions and improve response time.
Hitesh Naval: Worked on creating the Itinerary Creation UI and functionality, but encountered issues with managing day-wise activities. This coming week: Refine UI for itinerary and resolve data-saving issues.
Purvesh Kapadiya: Provided initial UX design feedback on both the User Registration and Destination Search screens. Worked on creating wireframes for upcoming screens. This coming week: Focus on improving UI/UX for the itinerary creation and third-party booking integration.

Team activities:

Sprint planning meeting 10/10/2024:All members attended. Discussed tasks for the upcoming week and set priorities for Sprint 1 objectives.
Pair programming sessions for User Registration: Panwala Deep & Nanda, 10/12/2024 and 10/14/2024.
Daily stand-up meetings via Slack: All members participated.

Team Project Decisions:

Decided to push the integration of third-party booking services to Sprint 2 to allow more time to complete current Sprint 1 objectives.
Agreed to prioritize improving the performance of the Destination Search API to enhance user experience.
