NIGHTWATCH

Nightwatch is a JavaScript testing framework that uses Node.js and the W3C WebDriver API.

Requirements: npm, Node.js

To run the tests:

• clone the repo
• navigate to automation-tests/nightwatch
• install dependencies

$ npm install

• run Nightwatch

UNIX/Linux:

$ ./node_modules/.bin/nightwatch

Windows:

$ ./node_modules/.bin/nightwatch -e firefox-windows

This is a symbolic link that points to ./node_modules/nightwatch/bin/nightwatch. If you encounter any issues, check if your .gitignore excludes folders necessary for npm.

Job Name: aes-automated-tests

This job is activated by the other EC2, with a post-build action using the Parameterized Remote Trigger Plugin. This requires the triggered job to be parameterized, hence the name. The actual build step for Nightwatch is a shell script, which needs to be improved so that failed tests will fail the build.
