Race Details

Kumakk is a moderately advanced race achieving partial post-scarcity economy where nearly all basic goods are manufactured by fully automated factories.

Kumakk are tripedal race with two arms, taller than human on average.

Kumakk are characterized by numerous permanent cybernetic enhancements attached to their bodies often for extra protection against specific environment they work in as well as assisting them in daily task.

Society

Kumakk are very obsessed with technology and believe it to be the gateway to improving themselves controlling their own fate. Vast majority of the Kumakk have some sort of cybernetics in them, some to extreme degree where most of their body is now machine. Those that rejects bionics also exist but few in number and are somewhat considered inferior.

Most Kumakk work either as technician who maintain the machines or scientist who develop new theories and technologies to advance their civilization. Few may work in areas taken over by automation as luxury service or products, usually these will have ancestor working at the same job and passed on their knowledge down to their youngs.

Kumakk society have very low unemployment rate with education provided for everyone until they are capable of working. Those who are capable but simply refused to work or make contribution to their society is called a "leech" and is universally hated. Unless these individual have families or find someway to contribute to the society soon they may face "forced physiological contribution"...

Technology

Kumakk is one of the more high-tech race due to their obsession with technologies and being in regular contact with the more advanced Nuru. Kumakk specializes in more durable ships and systems. Most of their weapons are rather experimental and will not be the most reliable.

Kumakk are on friendly terms with the Nuru and contact each other regularly to trade and exchange knowledge.

Akralva

Kumakk are being attacked by Akralva. The Kumakk made a few attempt at reasoning with them but failed.
