Ignaggen are one of the older T1 race of the north-west sector of the galaxy.

Society

Ignaggen society are split into caste-like system for various professions. An Ignaggen individual will be extremely focused on what they do and enjoy improving their craft; most Ignaggen will have a small area of expertise which they'll dedicate their life to. If you trace the lineage of an Ignaggen, you'll find that they will likely have similar profession or even the same as their predecessor. For some reason, internal conflict between each other are almost unheard of.

Ignaggen were known to be extremely slow and cautious when exploring unknown territory. For this reason they never reached the Dels home world despite having the technology to do so for several centuries.

Ignaggen is ruled by a small group of individuals usually from a few "noble" families that have other members working within the government prior. The party however rarely select a individual outside of the government to be a member, in normal times it will be picked fro individual Ignaggen that rose through the rank as they gained experience and proven their competency.

Space exploration and colonization procedure

• Scouts jumps into the system and systems surrounding it several time to collect various data about the system and what's in it.
• A fleet is prepared for colonizing according to the data usually involve around 20-50 warships as guard and numerous other civilian ships. Scouts awaits at destination.
• The whole fleet jumps together to the destination.

Technology

Ignaggen technology is basically magic to most outsiders.

Traditional Ignaggen ships utilize unique crystals grown in labs to act as sensors and with unknown method connected to the main console in the cockpit/bridge the consoles are rather simple with a few indicator lights and buttons as most of the ship is controlled with the mind. While it was designed for Ignaggen to use, it is also usable by most other race, though experiences may vary.

Ignaggen technologies may look crude from the outside but require no less precision than any other technologies. They are also exceptionally durable compared to many other equivalent technologies, though this result from their focus on quality. Their traditional ships have to be carefully sculpted into shape before being baked in a specialized chamber designed to fit a particular model of ships to achieve their final look and properties. The process is very prone to defects and requires painstaking quality control.

After contact with Dels and shortly Eraders, Ignaggen learned and adopted new manufacturing techniques that allows them to produce ships faster and more reliably, but they are unable to achieve the same level of durability as they do with traditional methods yet.

Ships

Ignaggen will have two series of ships; first, rocky, cockpitless ships, with crystal sensor around the ship designed and made with technology before Dels contact made with unique technologies allowing very durable ships but are much more delicate and very difficult to manufacture. Second, a more modern design incorperating technologies introduced by Dels allowing faster production at cost of durability not matching ships made with their original technology. Nonetheless sufficient for most uses by Ignaggen.

As civillians move to cheaper ships made with new manufacturing methods, the military remains using the original technology for durability and reliablity.
