Race Details

The Erader were the last race in the north-western sector of the galaxy to discover spaceflight. They are split into five factions.

History

Before the discovery of spaceflight, all the Erader factions were involved in a war on their homeworld. The faction losing the war--who would eventually call themselves the Makerurader--was actually the first to develop spaceflight. They discovered FTL travel soon after that, putting them far beyond the reach of the other factions.

After the war, the alliance of the other factions was dissolved. Each nation raced to reach space and lay claim to the nearby star systems before the others, although unlike the Makerurader, none of them discovered FTL on their own. They continue to assemble and send sub-light colony fleets to other systems for a long time before coming into contact with the Dels and learning hyperdrive tech. The Erader came into contact with Ignaggen south of their space shortly thereafter.

An interesting cultural note is that the Makerurader have always been technologically ahead of the other factions. Due to the geography of their homeworld most Erader factions had very little contact with each other until the Makerurader invented aircraft (and subsequently started a war with everyone else).

Factions

Erader Darua

Erader Kasiva

One of the most advanced Erader faction second only to Makerurader. A government ruled by an emperor with absolute power above the law, though largely stable with very little internal conflict.

Erader Mukube

An alliance of a few nations to complete with the other faction in space race. Though, with vastly different ideology between each faction they are not the most stable and are only barely held together.

Erader Narpul

One of the last Erader faction to discover FTL. Occupies the northern territory of the Erader space. Shortly after colonization of the space, they were attacked by Kroom Kakaima.

Makerurader

The most advanced Erader fraction. The first to reach space and discover FTL technology, considerably faster than other factions. They are not on good term with most other Erader factions prior to spaceflight.
