A lot of their technologies are influenced by remains of an advanced ancient civilization that left a lot of marks on their home planets and surrounding systems. Many of these technologies left over by someone are somewhat convenient for the Donko to use suggesting who ever made these share several similarities to the Donko. They believe it is a coincidence rather than deliberate attempt at giving them these technologies.
