Image compression is an important aspect of running a smooth and elegant picture driven website. As such we encurage that lossless images are scaled properly.

slideshow images should be scaled first while retaining the original pixel desity.

  1. Scale the image to 2000x1333px
  2. Save it without changing the pixel desity or DPI
  3. Upload to compressor.
  4. Verify image size is below 500kb if not continue to step5.
  5. Is DPI higher or equal to 72DPI? If not correct it.
  6. Is the dimension greater than 2000x1333px?

After each step verify that the image still looks good.
Also verify if it's possible to use a image with smaller dimensions to conserve space
