Zhöwonj

The Zhöwonj is the official currency of Ëlzho. It's prestigious and high-value. Much like Intronesian Rḋewk̇, there are multiple smaller pieces. The most expensive Zhöwonj piece was, at one point, made of pure gold. As more currency needed to be produced, a much more affordable material, plated with bronze, took the place of gold. Zhöwonj pieces feature intricate designs and inscriptions that are very difficult to replicate. Inflation is typically kept low in a number of ways. The Uvüm government has, throughout history, made quite financially intelligent decisions. Additionally, even the Uvüm government struggles to create the currency, so the currency stays quite low in supply, and counterfeiting is more difficult. As tourism became more common in Ëlzho, they reluctantly began to accept Intronesian Rḋewk̇ in some parts of the country, though Rḋewk̇ are not accepted across the whole country. Pjortii began to accept Zhöwonj early in its own economic development. Collectors often very much appreciate the beautiful designs and captivating history of the Zhöwonj. At some point in the history of the currency, magical security features began to be used to make counterfeiting even more difficult.
