Scenario - uo-lca/uo-lca.github.io GitHub Wiki
An LCA scenario is composed of a top-level fragment, an activity level, and a list of parameters of various types.
The scenario's activity level is the initial activity level at the top-level fragment. Activity level is applied during navigation in the Fragment Flows view.
The LCA Tool contains the following two scenarios which are visible to all users.
- Model Base Case
- Default Scenario
Scenario Parameters
Scenario parameters are used to vary the base version of the fragment model. Parameters affect LCIA computation in different ways depending on type.
Parameter Types:
- Dependency : A dependency parameter overrides the amount of fragment flow that is input to or output from a process node.
- Flow Property : sets flow properties such as trace element composition values.
- Process Emission : overrides a process flow emission factor.
- Process Dissipation : overrides a process flow dissipation factor.
- LCIA Factor : overrides a characterization factor provided by an LCIA method.
Parameter names are generated by the tool from the names of related model components. The name can be edited in the Scenario view's parameter grid.
See Editing Parameters for information about editing values in parameter grids.
