03 | Machine should be hyginic. |
04 | Machine should be Userfriendly |
Problem definition version 1.1 :-
Design a semi-automatic bottle capping machine, which is able to do accurate and hygienic capping process,it should be portable and user-friendly
1.4 Identify constraints
Step 1:Prepare a list of design constrains
Table 4: Idebtified constraints
Sl.no | Constraints |
---|---|
01 | Machine should be less weighted. |
02 | Dimensions 5 cubic ft |
03 | Machine should fix at least two caps per minute. |
04 | One litre bisleri bottle should be capped. |
05 | Machine should cap one bottle at a time. |
06 | The machine should work for 3 HRS continuously. |
07 | Machine should be durable for 8 to 10 uses. |
08 | It must be made up of non-toxic material. |
09 | Cost of the machine should be within Rs-4000 |
Problem definition version 1.2 :-
Design a semi-automatic bottle capping machine, which is able to do accurate and hygienic capping process, it should be portable and user friendly.Machine must not exceed the volume of 5 cubic feets , should be able to cap atleast two bottles (each 1 litre) per minute, budget to build should not exceed Rs. 4000andit should work for 3 hours continuously.
1.5 Establish Function
Step 1: Prepare a list design function Table 5 : Identified Function
Sl.No | Function |
---|---|
01 | Cap the Bottle. |
02 | Capping is done clean and tightly to ensure safety. |
03 | indicate that process has been completed to the user |
04 | Detect the level of liquid in the bottle |
05 | Detect the bottle |
06 | Hold Bottle |
Problem definition version 1.3 :-
Design a semi-automatic bottle capping machine, which is able to do accurate and hygienic capping process, it should be portable and user-friendly. Machine must not exceed the volume of 5 cubic feet, should be able to cap at least two bottles (each 1 litre) per minute, budget to build should not exceed Rs. 4000 and it should work for 3 hours continuously. Machine should indicate the user after capping process is completed and should not do capping in case if bottle is empty/partially filled.(Detect the level of liquid in the bottle)
