Quanto Flx's "skin" may have many forms, such as panels that follow a certain size and other components without background.
When your cursor is pointing to a skin:
Hold down the left button and drag to move it. To batch move skins, hold Ctrl+Alt to select skins on screen and drag.
When the scroll bar appears, it means you can scroll through the content by scrolling the mouse wheel, either vertically or horizontally.
Middle-click to switch its scale/style (if available). Many skins have alternative scales/styles.
Right-click to display the context menu. The context menu generally complements the usage of the skin and is the entry point to the Skin Settings, which is an important part of understanding the usage of the skin and customizing it. Hold Ctrl and right-click to open the Rainmeter skin generic context menu, ignoring the state (includes "Click through").

Open Skin Settings to set various parameters of the skin. There are 3 common setting options:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Gradient Background | Enabling this feature will allow you to set the background of this skin to any solid color or gradient. |
Combination | Enabling this feature can help keep your layout from looking too loose and more organized. It should be noted that this will only make visual changes, it does not actually form a "skin group", and you still need to hold down Ctrl+Alt to move skins in batches. |
Opacity | You can adjust the opacity of each skin individually. Adjusting this option may have different effects on different skins, such as changing the opacity of the background for the panel, while adjusting other skins without a background will change the overall opacity. |

When you need to add skins, modify settings, or enable features, you can open the Quanto Flx Manager, which is the control center of Quanto Flx, through the context menu of every skin or by clicking the "gear" icon on the "Control Bar".
The vertically arranged buttons on the left side of the interface are the Package list, and the horizontally arranged buttons above are the function list. Quanto Flx Manager provides the information of installed Packages, including the skin list and the global settings of the skin in the Package, and the global settings of Quanto Flx.
Each Package provides a skin list for adding skins to your desktop.
Left-click the candidate box to the right of the option to expand the context menu of all sizes/styles of the selected skin, then make further selections to load it to the desktop; right-click to unload it from the desktop. Can't find the selected skin on the desktop? click "↗" to move it to the upper right corner of the Quanto Flx Manager window.
Some skins have multiple clones, click ">" to view them. The method for adding them is the same as above.
Not satisfied with the preset appearance provided? You can adjust them through Global Settings. Global settings provide you with settings for language, appearance, and some additional features, and appearance settings provide you with global color settings as well as pixel-level detail settings. It also provide some additional automation features and some practical features, such as touch screen mode, style clipboard, etc.
Some packages may also provide global settings for its skins.
Don't forget to refresh all skins after adjusting the settings (click the "Refresh" button at the top of the interface)!
Worried about losing your settings due to Quanto Flx updates or other mishaps? Back them up! Most packages provide a "Backup and Restore" page to quickly back up or restore your settings. With just a few simple steps, you can back up or restore all skin settings. You may need to set the backup directory in "Global Settings" first.
Please note that not all packages can restore all skin settings from an older backup. But despite it, Quanto Flx will provide you with the function of "checking" the settings file for manual comparison settings.
Quanto Flx has always been a desktop customization tool based on Rainmeter, not a Windows Explorer replacement. It does not have the function of managing windows, nor does it change the global visual style of Windows.
It's supposed to work with Windows Explorer, and the most you need to do is hide the desktop icons (via the context menu that appears when you right-click the empty area of the desktop) instead of closing Explorer.
