You can transform your helicopter into a wireless USB dongle which will function as a game controller. It will work just like the FrSky XSR-SIM or the Futaba WSC-1. Connect your helicopter to the computer with a USB cable, start Rotorflight Configurator, go to the CLI tab and type:

set usb_hid_cdc = on
save

Now your craft will also function as a game controller - as long as it isn't armed. If you're running Windows, it will install a driver for your new hardware. After it's finished, run joy.cpl or type Set up USB game controllers. You'll see something like this:

Game controller

Power on your transmitter and create a new model with just the basic controls: aileron, elevator, thrust and rudder. Now start up your favourite simulator, configure the controller and go fly that Banshee.

Note: in this case it's really helpful if the receiver gets its power from the USB as well, so you won't need batteries while simming.
