Originally there were two personas: a budding artist and a mentor artist. We decided to focus the company on budding artists only, recruiting and employing the mentors internally. We decided this would be best because it would allow for better quality mentorship and easier screening of mentors.

We created our persona by combining the common demographic traits, key behaviors, needs and frustrations, and goals of our two interviewees: Liam and Dianna.

Meet Lianna -- The Budding Artist

Demographics

• Current Age: 22
• Age she started her musical career: 15
• Current Job: Musician/Singer & Boutique Pet Store Manager (cause she loves cats)
• Money: $$$-- ($50,000 range)

Key Behaviors

• Early adopter
• Great work ethic
• Tech savvy
• Perfectionist
• Financially Stable
• Empathetic
• Cares about what other people thing about her

Needs & Frustrations

• Writers block
• Worries about living up to other's expectations
• Needs to obtain great equipment
• Lacks the opportunities to perform and get the word out about her
• Worries about staying motivated and inspired, as well as avoiding burn out
• Needs to learn how to better handle other people's criticisms and feedback (good and bad)

Goals She's asks us:

1. How do I train myself to stay motivated and inspired despite other's expectations and criticisms (good and bad)?
2. How do I obtain the materials and other things I need in order to succeed (ex. equipment, marketing, fanbase, etc)?
