The cli options to npd6 are:
| short option | Long option | Description |
|---|---|---|
| -c | --config=PATH | Sets the config file. Default is /etc/npd6.conf |
| -d | --debug | Sets the debug level |
| -D | --debug2 | Sets full debug mode (lots of output - too much for most!) |
| -f | --foreground | Runs npd6 in foreground (default is to run detached in background) |
| -h | --help | Show help summary |
| -l | --logfile=PATH | Sets the log file, or if "-l -" uses stdout and stderr. Default to syslog. |
| -v | --version | Print the version and quit |
