Her Agent is named Maria, after the socialist revolutionary gynoid from Metropolis.

She’s not a member of the Fourth Interstellar Party Secretariat, just General Secretary of ReSCaN, one of the subsidiary micro-parties. She’s bucking for leadership, though: the older generation dominating the Secretariat is tired, out of touch, mostly hanging out in pubs arguing ancient doctrine and calling for the occasional strike. She means to steal the Party – and the Plan – out from under them.

Dropped out of Ishikawa University after three years, for undisclosed reasons.

Chance

Has known Chance through the Party since she was 14. Knows Chance crushes on her massively, and is cool with it. Moving into the Honeycomb Hideout at least got Chance off her sofa and into an actual bed, since Night gave her one right off the library. They spend most of their days together on the library level, absolutely texting by Agent even though they're in the same room.

Friction

Met Friction two years ago. Goes dancing with Chance and Friction whenever possible. Noting with amusement that Friction's been around a lot since everyone moved into the Hideout.

Harlan's brother. She’s semi-named after him. He's a lifelong 4I guy, and she grew up listening to his stories of the revolts of the 2330s. Got her values from him, though her brains and strategic thinking are definitely from her folks. He works as an Old Dome Reclaimer, rehabbing communities and managing their infrastructure.
