Axes

In the Gnomecraft Skyblock modpack, thanks to the Axes are Weapons mod, axes treated as weapons. This makes the axe an excellent friend early in the game. A wood or bone axe will not only chop down that tree, but also defend the player from anything nasty that might spawn up in the tree as well.

• Axes lose half as much durability when attacking (1 like Swords, instead of 2).
• Axes can be Enchanted with Looting.
• Sharpness, Smite and Bane of the Arthropods can appear in the Enchanting Table for axes.
