Motivation

Our current proposal process sets a 7 day limit on voting, resulting in votes being trapped in limbo for lack of feedback.

Proposal

Propose revising GSIP voting process to assuming a +0 vote after 10 days (similar to the GeoTools community policy).

Feedback

Some confusion/discussion on the email list resulted in a debate between 14 days (two weeks) and the shorter 10 days. The majority were in favour of a 10 day period.
