Summary

SAP Joule for Consultants is a subscription application built on SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP). Once commercial agreements are completed, an entitlement to SAP Joule for Consultants is assigned to your BTP global account, enabling you to provision and access the service.

Detailed Overview

What is A BTP Global Account?

A BTP Global Account is the main account you get when your organization or partner signs a contract with SAP. It is the base where you manage everything like smaller accounts (called subaccounts), users, service entitlements, and usage limits.

What should SAP Joule for Consultants do to have a BTP Global Account?

Once your company completes the commercial agreements, SAP assigns an entitlement for this service to your BTP global account. This allows you set up and use SAP Joule in a special subaccount.

What to do If you already have a BTP global account?

You just need to create and configure the subaccount to start using SAP Joule for Consultants.

You do not have a global account yet? No problem , here’s how to get started:

  1. After your company signs the contract, the IT contact gets an email from SAP with login details for your global account.
  2. The IT contact logs in first and can add other users as administrators.
  3. Use the SAP BTP cockpit (dashboard) to manage your global account and create subaccounts.
  4. Create a subaccount dedicated for SAP Joule, choosing the right region like EU 10 or EU 11.
  5. Assign users and permissions so consultants can access the software.

This global account structure helps organize your access, manage users, and control services securely and efficiently.
