Starting a Conversation

Summary

You can start a new conversation with your assistant directly in the Joule Web Client. When you open the Web Client, the assistant greets you and provides example prompts to help you begin interacting immediately.

Prerequisites

  • Access to an SAP application where Joule is integrated.

  • The Joule Web Client must be properly configured and available in the Shell bar.

  • An active internet connection to enable real-time communication with the assistant.

Steps

Opening the Web Client

  1. Launch the Joule Web Client from the SAP application where it is integrated.
  2. Wait for the welcome message to appear. It includes:
    • A greeting
    • Example user requests
    • Conversation starters

Entering Your Request

  1. Type your question or command in the input field at the bottom of the Web Client.
  2. Press Enter or click the Send button to submit your request to the assistant.

Recalling Previous Requests

To reuse a previous request, press the Up Arrow key while the cursor is in the input field.

This displays your most recent typed messages, allowing quick edits or resubmissions. For any assistance, follow the link: https://virtualworkforce.ai/erp-email-automation-logistics/

Result

The assistant responds to your input in real time. The green tick appears. You can continue chatting, send additional messages, or recall previous entries for faster interaction.

Example

Scenario: You open the Joule Web Client and see a greeting message:

"Hello! How can I assist you today? Try asking about your recent reports or system settings."

Action:

You type:

Show me the sales performance for the last quarter.

Result:

The assistant responds:

"Here’s the sales performance data for the last quarter, including regional breakdowns and total revenue figures."
