How to Add, Delete, and Rename Conversations

Summary

You can manage your conversations in the Joule Web Client by adding new ones, renaming existing ones, or deleting those you no longer need. This feature helps you organize your interactions efficiently and maintain a clear record of past discussions.

Steps

Adding a New Conversation

1. Open the side panel menu in the Joule Web Client.
2. Click the New Conversation icon.

A new conversation thread will appear.
The conversation title is automatically generated based on the first request-response interaction within the thread.

Renaming a Conversation

1. Hover over the conversation title in the side panel menu.
2. Select Rename from either:
   • The conversation menu, or
   • The conversation header.
3. Enter the new name and confirm to save the updated title.

Deleting a Conversation

1. Hover over the conversation in the side panel menu or open the action menu from the header.
2. Select Delete from the available options.
3. Confirm the deletion to remove the conversation permanently.

Result

The Joule Web Client updates to reflect your changes:

• A new conversation is created and titled automatically.
• A renamed conversation displays the updated title in the side panel.
• A deleted conversation is permanently removed from your list of conversations.
