All about translation.
We use Transifex. It is really simple to use, so anyone can start translating and you don't have to worry about learning specific tools to help with translation.
- Get an account
- Join a language team
Localization update are automatically merged into the main code repository, every Friday evening at 20h00 GMT.
Alternatively, you can use POedit to manually localize strings.
Before starting any translation, make sure that you have the most recent translation template:
- Open a terminal
- Execute the
./misc/pot_generator.sh
bash script
Launch POedit:
- Open your target language PO file in
etmain/locale/client/
oretmain/locale/mod/
. - Update the string list by going to
Catalog -> Update
from POT file and selectetmain/locale/etlegacy_client.pot
oretmain/locale/etlegacy_mod.pot
file.
You can then send your localization by opening a Pull Request. See How to commit Your Code.
