Patents

Players suggest "blueprints" which is a combination of resources or items that can be used to create new items that, if approved, can be added to the game for them to create and sell to other players. The blueprints can also be sold to other players or companies to allow them to create the item. This allows players to have agency over their ideas and allows them to maintain a rarity on the item if wanted, or if it is popular enough, to be sold for large amounts of currency.

Stores

Buildings can be transformed into stores, where chests in the building's inventory is made available to all players and the store owner can set prices for his items.
