Supported clients

This list of supported clients is incomplete. If you find other systems that work well with RetroNAS, please contact the authors.

For each item in the list, a link is provided to the specific tool/service documentation. In manufacturer alphabetical order:

Apple GS/OS, System 6 - 7, Classic Mac OS 8 - 9

  • Netatalk - AFP (Apple Filing Protocol, including AppleTalk over DDP (non-IP))
  • FTP - File Transfer Protocol
  • PyGopherd Gopher protocol for file browsing/sharing
  • HTTP - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
  • WebOne - HTTP 1.x proxy for web browsing on old browsers

Apple MacOSX 10.0 - 10.15
