Pseudo Code

  1. Player selects a quest.
  2. Prep Phase -
    • Player buys ingredients.
    • Random party is generated, Player may reroll twice OR reroll for a fee.
  3. Player enters Battle -
    • Turn order is established.
    • Each hero attacks on their individual turns.
    • Monster attacks on its turn.
  4. Player crafts potions -
    • select ingredients from the inventory and combine them.
    • add a minigame for mixing, like tapping OR select the procedure of alchemy OR measure ingredients.*
    • cooldown for creating potions while cauldron is cleaned.
  5. Player gives a hero a potion by double tapping their icon.
  6. Repeatedly support heroes until enemy is defeated.
  7. Show rewards screen and obtain -
    • cash for buying ingredients.
    • fame for unlocking new heroes.
    • items for discovering new potions*.

Ingredients

  • Base - used in all potions and determines the quality.
    • Water - the cheapest base, adds nothing to the potion effects.
    • Wine - a fine wine, adds +2 to the potion effects.
    • Oil/Blood - obtained from the monster, adds either a positive, normal or negative potion effect.
  • Herb - a healing herb used for medical purposes.
  • Mushroom - a mysterious mushroom with strengthening properties.
  • Venom - obtained from poisonous creatures, highly toxic.

Prices

  • Water 2G
  • Wine 7G
  • Herb 5G
  • Mushroom 7G

Potions

  • HP Potion - replenishes HP by +2.
  • Atk Potion - increases Atk for a turn by +1.
  • Cure Poison - cures poison status.

Potion Recipes

  • HP Potion - Base + Herb.
  • Atk Potion - Base + Mushroom.
  • Cure Potion - Base + Herb/Powder + Venom.
    e.g.
    water + herb = HP +2 potion.
    wine + mushroom = Atk +3 for 1 turn.
    oil + herb + venom = failed cure.

  • Players will unlock more classes with their fame.
