The Bosporans have a longlasting tradition of horsemanship, and are able to punch through weak points in an enemy's line with a powerful charge. Armed with spears and short stabbing swords and protected by a stout cuirass, the Bosporans can be seen as the low-budget Companion Cavalry, as they fight in the same way (and just as well!) but are not rich enough to afford the expensive heavy armour.
