This week focused primarily on file permissions and access control, the lab had us create files, users, and groups which we then assigned various permissions too.

Lab 5:

This lab had us create three users, two groups, and two files and directories and then assign them to create a simulated file share where certain users only have access to certain documents.

• Access Control: Linux uses a DAC system which determines permissions based on the owners of the file.
