Body - Protected/BetterBennett GitHub Wiki

Features in this menu tree control the avatar's body.

Dynamic Proportions

When enabled, the avatar's proportions will change with its scale. Scale the avatar up or down slightly to gradually change from Teenager (default) to Child or Adult. More extreme changes will approximate more deformed "Chibi" and "Giant" setups. Toggle Dynamic Proportions off to look like the default Teenager at any size.

The Slim Proportions toggle changes the larger proportion stops to have thinner arms and legs. It does not affect the Child/Chibi stops.

Skin

Controls the avatar's skin. The skin tone controls are fully equivalent between PC and Android. When Rainbow skin is enabled, the Hue ramp will change from natural skin tones to the full color spectrum.

Scars (canonical)

Toggles the avatar's canonical (cartoon) scars on PC. Note that on Android, these scars are always ON, and can't be turned off.

Lacerations (halloween)

Toggles more realistic wounds on and off. Not available on Android.

Bags under eyes

Tired? You can show bags under your eyes on PC. These are also displayed automatically with the Tired facial expression.

Hair

Change the character's hair color. The default ramp goes from black to white, through natural hair colors including brown, red and blond. Enable Rainbow hair to use the full color spectrum instead.

Rainbow hair overrides Greyscale and is affected by the Rainbow adjustment global slider.

Android limitations Android warning
On android, hair colors (in both modes) will be approximated to one of a number of fixed preset colors, so they may be slightly off from their PC counterpart. There are 6 natural colors and 12 rainbow colors.

Combed Hair will make the character's hair slightly less unruly.

Googly Eyes

Turns the irises of the eyes black and glassy and detaches them from IK/animation.

On PC, Googly Eyes are controlled by a springy PhysBone.

Eye color

A full spectrum of eye colors is available on PC.

On Android, due to limitations of VRChat's Toon Standard shader, some of the eye colors may appear drastically different. Some are similar, but just differnt in lightness (darker blues, lighter browns).

Base Face

A collection of base facial expressions can be set here. This is the facial expression presented by the avatar by default. To learn more, read Facial Expressions system.
