Frequently Asked Questions - Nvdtn19/peagameplay-pvz2c-english-patch GitHub Wiki

The game is updated. Does this translation works on the new version?

No, one single file can't be used for multiple version, only single version. That means you can't use the previous one in a new version. But porting the translation from an old version of the game to a new one will take a while, so please be patient.

The game crashes after I put the translation file in. What should I do?

If you are using a translation file from old version to new version, that might be the issues. Make sure that you're currently updated the game to the latest version and not using the old translation file if I haven't updated it yet. Also, you can try force stop the game and clear game caches in the device settings and see if it works or not.

Will we still working on the translation if the game is updated?

Yes, but porting the translation from an old version of the game to a new one will take a while, so please be patient.

Do we support the translation for other languages?

Unfortunately, we only support for English translation, not support for other languages. You might want to find it in other places.

Do we support the translation for other games?

Currently, we only support PvZ2 Chinese version, not support any of PvZ2 mods or any other games. However, you can translate everything in the screen by using a screen translator like google translate, or third parties on-screen translator that available in the Play Store to translate the texts that you don't understand.

Can I use BlueStacks to play this translation?

Not certain, I don't know if this affect every BlueStacks user, but there's a bug in BlueStacks that you probably can't use the translation. The reason is that if you have the game installed, there will be a game folder directory, which is required to put the translation file inside. But in Bluestacks, that folder for some reason doesn't show in file explorer in Bluestacks, even if you have the game installed or not. If that folder isn't there, you can't put the translation file anywhere and can't use the translation. Sorry but I don't know how to fix such issues in BlueStacks, but I would recommend you to use another emulator, like Ldplayer to use the translation, it might be more stable and might help you, also Ldplayer doesn't have such issues like BlueStacks. Normal Android phone also doesn't have such issues. If you still want to use BlueStacks, you can try your luck to see this bug is fixed or not, but since I don't use BlueStacks and don't know how to fix this bug, I can't help you with that on BlueStacks.

Will the translation affect the progress I made in the game?

No, this won't affect your progress, delete anything or add anything to your account. It's just change the language of the game. However, you need to remember your account id and password, screenshot the information so you won't lost your account nor your progress. However, there's still no ensure that your current might loss when using this translation, so please continue to read below.

Is this translation safe to use? Can I get banned?

Currently, there's no report about someone got banned in-game, so this translation is considered safe to play at all. However, there might be some repost mod that base on my English patch somewhere on YouTube, they may inject cheating tools that might get you banned in the game, so use it at your own risk. I'm not responsible for any data losses, if that happens, you have to create a new account and play again from scratch.
